This grouping of photos is for a photo journalism assingment where we were required to find something rather mundane in our own lives that may be exciting for someone else, or just mundane in general and take interesting photos of it. I chose to do people's hands, and my forge.

The idea of doing hands was to take something that most people have, and to some degree take for granted, and point out the uniqueness of them. It's obvious that each pair hands in these photos is not from the same person. A person's relative age, and occupation can even be seen in the wear on someone's hands.

The idea of photographing my forge was more partially to show off, partially to practice editing photos of my work, something I should get good at, and partially an example of something normal for me that isn't normal for a lot of people.
